Skewerz Kebabz opens store at Centro Mandurah

The Aktiv group had recently acquired The Kebab Co franchise with the Mandurah site the second to be converted to the Skewerz brand.

Aktiv Brands Managing Director, Stuart Beechen, said, “We’re seeing some very encouraging sales from Mandurah already with double the sales in its first week of operation compared to that as The Kebab Co in the same period last year.”

He said the focus now will be converting the remaining seven Kebab Co sites to the Skewerz brand over the next six months, with Garden City Booragoon and Westfield Innaloo next on the list.

The recent opening at Mandurah takes the total number of Skewerz stores to four.

“By mid next year we will have at least 10 Skewerz sites Australia wide and will be sourcing new site opportunities and franchisees to help continue the brand’s realistic and sustainable growth path,” said Beechen.
