Rolld opens its 50th store
The Vietnamese food chain arrives in Melbourne Central.
Rolld announced the opening of its 50th store in Australia, with launch of Rolld Melbourne Central. Now operating in five states throughout Australia, the brand is also planning to open another 20 stores before Christmas and a further 50 next financial year.
Bao Hoang, Co-Founder and CEO of Rolld, said the opening of the 50th store is a significant milestone for the business.
“The opening of our 50th store at Melbourne Central is a milestone moment for us. When we first launched Rolld our original intent was simply to share my mum’s fresh, healthy authentic home-cooked Vietnamese food, which we thought provided a nice alternative to sushi. But with such an overwhelming response to our product, and the exponential growth of our brand, we’re now really serious about refining and extending the Rolld concept on a national and even international scale without compromising our quality," Hoang said.
"Essentially we now want to take our home Vietnamese cooking to the world. All I can say is: watch this space!”
To celebrate the landmark store launch, Rolld unveiled ‘Rolly’, the roaming operated vehicle (ROV), who gave away free rice paper ‘Rolld Soldiers’ to guests.
“We’re pretty excited to introduce, Rolly, our new ROV, who will rolling around Melbourne Central throughout the day handing out our famous rice paper Rolld Soldiers. Sharing delicious family made food is an important part of Vietnamese culture, so we thought what better way to celebrate such an exciting occasion than to share as much food as possible,” Hoang said.
