RFG's expansion boosts store training scheme

There were almost 200 recruits last year.

With eight brand systems under its portfolio, Retail Food Group (RFG) continues to expand with its huge growth plans well underway.

The company aims to open a total of 110 stores in coming financial year.

This increase in growth will also present a boost in the number of recruits that will pass through RFG’s training academy, especially with the recent addition of two pizza brands in RFG’s portfolio—Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar and Pizza Capers.

The company reported that almost 200 recruits, composed of new franchisees, renewing franchisees, store managers, and trainers, underwent training at RFG’s national training academy in Gold Coast last year.

“We are aware of strong growth plans in place for several of our brands, and we are ready for an increase in the number of new franchisees and store managers requiring training.

“Being able to cater for the growing training needs of our franchisee base just shows how important an investment the world class training academy has been to RFG, it will be vital for the successful growth of the business in years to come,” said Melanie McCammond, RFG National Training Manager.
