
RFG trained over 200 franchisees in 2011-2012
New franchisees complete three to eight week intensive courses at the $1 million Training Academy.
Retail Food Group has been training the equivalent of at least one new franchisee every two days during the past 12 months.
The new centre, which opened in April 2011, covers 200sqm and encompasses ten barista coffee machines, seven baking ovens, two donut makers, a simulated store-front, and computer and theory classrooms.
During 2011-2012, the facility trained more than 200 franchisees, which is the highest number Retail Food Group has ever trained during a 12-month period.
The franchisees’ training was for RFG’s Donut King, Brumby’s Bakeries, Michel’s Patisserie, Esquires Coffee Houses, Big Dad’s Pies, and Pizza Capers franchise systems.
