
Retail Food Group set to expand its mobile coffee division
The company primarily targets the greater Melbourne and Sydney regions.
“Mobile coffee is very successful in Australia. Cafe2U has become a leading franchise in the mobile coffee sector through its focus on ‘quality in the cup’ and The Coffee Guy is seeing a successful growth spike through its low-cost entry opportunity,” General Manager George Angelis said.
Cafe2U and The Coffee Guy are the core brands within the Company’s mobile division and together have a network of more than 200 vans in respective territories across the country.
“As we focus on the strategic expansion of the network, we’re seeing more and more budding baristas who have a love for the coffee industry and want to work for themselves, stepping into the driver’s seat and taking to the road in our vans,” he added.
The Coffee Guy’s growth has been a core focus, with over 20 vans currently on the road and more territory opportunities slated for the next financial year.
“Right now we’re committed to growing the existing presence of The Coffee Guy and Cafe2U, and endeavour to gain more market share of our mobile brands throughout Australia,” he said.
