McDonald's Camperdown store gets a 'gourmet' makeover

A new concept known as 'The Corner'.

McDonald's recently opened The Corner by McCafé where the chain is testing completely new and different food and beverages never before seen in its restaurants.

"It is another example of us listening to our customers. While we don't have plans at this stage to roll out The Corner concept nationally, it will be used to gauge customer feedback to enhance the offering in our more than 700 McCafé's around the country," said a McDonald's spokespoerson.

Products and concepts trialed that customers love may be included in other McCafé locations.

The Corner by McCafé offers salads with Moroccan roast chicken breast, chipotle pulled pork, brown rice, pumpkin, lentil and eggplant, as well as sandwiches and barista made quality coffee.
