Madame Nhu opens new store at Chatswood Asian food precinct
The Vietnamese food brand will unveil its fifth store in Chatswood Westfield in Sydney's north on 26 November 2015.
The newest eatery from the Colonie Restaurants Group will draw heavily on Vietnam's postcolonial history and heritage for its design and food. It will be located in Westfield Chatswood's new Hawker Lane.
"We are delighted to join Westfield Chatswood. We've been a passionate supporter of its Hawker Lane concept from the very beginning," Director Minh Nguyen said.
For the new eatery, Nguyen has gone back to the basics and stripped the menu down to only 3 items: pho noodle soup, summer rolls, and chicken rice.
"It was difficult trying to cull the menu down to only 3 main items. However, we wanted to remain true to the spirit hawker food and focus only on those items that we are most famous for," Nguyen said.
"This will be the first time we are opening outside the Sydney city area, and there are plans for more. Our food and interior design - down to the colour and font size - has been carefully chosen and strictly managed by us to ensure authenticity," Nguyen added.
