Below is a Q&A with Sarah Broad, the Group PR and Communications Manager for The Coffee Club Group.

QSR Media: What inspired the brand to launch a drive thru store?

Broad: The Coffee Club was inspired to launch our drive-thru store with our desire to keep up with customer demand and an ongoing effort to modernise our offering.

Many of our guests have very fast paced lives and we want to be able to offer them their favourite coffee while they are on the go.

QSR Media: What makes your drive thru model store stand out?

Broad: We have put a lot of focus on the design of this new store by refining the stores operations to make drive-thru coffee work efficiently without compromising the quality of our coffee.

QSR Media: Will the brand be rolling out more of these stores in the near future?

Broad: Not at this stage. The suburb of Tingalpa was chosen to launch the Drive Thru store as it is a developing suburb of Brisbane.

A lot of commuter traffic passes through Tingalpa on their way to and from work each day which is why it is a perfect location for a Drive Thru store.

We are waiting to see how the Drive Thru store opening at Tingalpa works in that market before planning any further Drive Thru store openings.
