Eagle Boys releases statement on closing down stores
The brand released the following statement on the closure of some of its stores.
Eagle Boys Dial-a-Pizza Pty Ltd (Eagle Boys) regrets to confirm the closure of its 13 company owned stores effective from today, Thursday 21 July.
The closure of the company owned stores in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia is part of an ongoing review to identify cost saving restructuring measures with the aim for positive growth.
All franchised Eagle Boys stores remain under the control of individual franchisees and continue to trade as per normal, with most stores experiencing record sales during the past week.
Following the appointment of Administrator’s SV Partners to assume control of Eagle Boys’ Head Office day-to-day operations, the focus remains on maintaining business as usual and continuing with negotiations for a sale of the business.
The Administrators are pleased to advise they have received enquiries from a number of interested parties since their appointment on Thursday 14 July and are hopeful of a swift sale.
The Eagle Boys management team is looking forward to the prospect of growing the brand under new ownership and would like to thank Eagle Boys customers, franchisees and team members for their ongoing support during this time.
