Carl's Jr. opens new site in Pimpama
The site is part of the brand’s long-term expansion strategy in Queensland.
Carl’s Jr. is bringing its classic handmade American burgers to the Gold Coast once it opens its Queensland’s second freestanding drive-thru restaurant in Pimpama on July 18.
Pimpama is the second of 20 Carl’s Jr. restaurants that retailer Bansal Group has reserved for Queensland.
“We chose this location due to its tremendous growth potential and the opportunity to make our home in Pimpama Central which is right in the heart of the suburb as well as easily accessible from the Pacific Motorway,” Bansal Group General Manager Shawn Kerr said.
This new opening follows the global burger chain’s Australian expansion after setting up sites in Bateau Bay, Redbank Plains, and Kilburn. Bansal Group is expected to open another eight restaurants in southeast Queensland by the end of next year with West Ipswich also opening in July, Rothwell in August, Eagleby in September and Hope Island in November.
Sites in Logan Hyperdome, Burpengary and Berrinba are also planned for 2019. In a previous interview, Carl's Jr. also said it also plans to launch their third global "Centre of Excellence" in Australia.
