The Bavarian debuts in Melbourne with 500 free hotdogs
It will bring its food and range of beers to Westfield Knox on November 3rd.
The 250-seat restaurant will celebrate its launch at Westfield Knox O-Zone dining precinct with 500 free hotdogs from 11am.
Knox locals have a huge range of classic Bavarian dishes to choose from, including The Bavarian’s crispy pork knuckle, pork belly, house-made sausages and seven different types of schnitzel, including The Schnitzelmeister that weighs 1kg.
Other menu items include hotdogs, burgers and spicy chicken wings with three levels of sauce intensity – BBQ, buffalo and diablo.
The restaurant also has a broad range of bottled beers and lagers in stores, as well as 17 beers on tap, including imported favourites Löwenbräu, Franziskaner, Stiegl and Hofbräu and a selection of house craft brews. The venue features a spacious bar and seven large-screen TVs.
On Sundays, kids under 12 eat for free (with a paying adult) and face painters and children’s entertainers are on site. Every Monday all-you-can-eat meat platters are available for $39pp, on Wednesdays it’s a $20 sausage and beer special offer, and there are 2 for 1 cocktails every Thursday. Happy hour is from 4pm-6pm Monday through to Sunday, with $5 house beer, wine and spirits, and $1 chicken wings.
Rockpool Dining Group's CEO Thomas Pash said he was thrilled to be expanding the group’s Melbourne footprint and bringing The Bavarian to Westfield Knox. “The Bavarian is a much-loved destination in Sydney and Brisbane and we believe it will be very well received by Knox locals and Westfield shoppers,” Pash said.
The Bavarian has created 40 full-time and casual positions.
