Baskin-Robbins celebrates 78th store opening
As part of its expansion to Western Australia, a grand opening party was held last 14 May.
Baskin-Robbins opened its 78th store at Canning Vale, West Australia. 10 new stores are expected to be added in the next twelve months.
General Manager of Baskin-Robbins Australia, Ian Martin, said: “This is an exciting time for Baskin-Robbins in Australia. We see a real potential in this market, and we’re aiming to open as many as 10 stores in the Golden State this year.
Canning Vale franchise owner and former teacher, Gail Bland, said: “I’m really pleased with how the business is going so far. It’s a new adventure for us and it’s taken a year to come this far along on the journey – finding the right location for the store and preparing to open.
“We wanted to stay local and support Canning Vale. We have always been active members of our community and felt that this was an ideal way in which we could contribute and really give back.”
The Canning Vale, Perth store has been in operation for one month and is creating a buzz with the local community.
