Ali Baba, Le Wrap merge into Retail Systems Group
RSG plans to have a number of 100 combined stores in the next 24-36 months.
On October 16th, Ali Baba Lebanese Cuisine Pty Ltd and Le Wrap Franchising Pty Ltd merged into Retail Systems Group (RSG).
Kaan Celik, the Director of Le Wrap, started the business with the aim of creating something “modern and simple”. His hands-on approach has been a key driver of success. “Your heart must be in it. Otherwise you’ll fail.”
“This merger will open up more opportunities for Le Wrap. We can learn a lot from Ali Baba. Retail Systems Group will operate from a position of power,” he added.
Robert Marjan, Director of Ali Baba, agrees that growth and reinvigoration are a major motivation for the merger.
“The increased numbers from the merger will increase momentum for RSG,” said Marjan. “Business tasks are enhanced. Negotiations with landlords and suppliers are more constructive. The franchisees have access to a combined professional team with years of experience to guide and assist them. Marketing benefits and cost savings are able to be combined.”
Major growth is planned over the next couple of years, with a goal of 100 combined stores in the next 24-36 months.
RSG will run 63 stores across Australia, comprised of 40 Ali Baba and 23 Le Wrap stores.
