Zambrero Wagga Wagga bags Best New Talent award

It holds the record for most successful Zambrero store opening.

Zambrero recognised their Wagga Wagga store in last week’s annual conference and awards night in the Gold Coast, with the award for ‘Best New Talent.’

The recipient of this particular award is given to the store that has been open for less than eight months and is evaluated on their finace history, operational and legal compliance, mystery shopper results, sales growth, and citizenship or the store’s commitment to the brand.

Zambrero Wagga Wagga opened its doors in May 2013, and is run by franchise partners Mina and Fadi Barsoum, and David Weise.

The brand highlighted that the Wagga Wagga store holds the record for the most successful opening in Zambrero history, along with the most nachos consumed in a day.

“Since opening back in May, the Wagga boys have shown exceptional ability across the board, from their operational skills to their strong community engagement. We couldn't be happier to have them on our team,” said Stuart Cook, CEO of Zambrero.
