Demand for canned foods and pasta has spiked due to the COVID-19 pandemic as consumers shift from foodservice to long-life goods, according to Sandhurst Fine Foods CEO Mimmo Lubrano.

Retailers who are not doing well online, he added, are falling behind in terms of perception in the marketplace.
