McDonald's expands range of grocery staples
The chain previously expanded its list of outlets delivering via Menulog.
McDonald’s is now expanding its range of grocery staples available via drive-thru and takeaway, adding eggs and alternative milks such as almond, soy and lactose-free milk.
This follows its earlier move to sell bread rolls, English muffins and milk via McDelivery to customers amidst social restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re pleased to be able to continue to expand this offering to help the community safely access essential items like milk, bread and eggs, as well as their usual Macca’s favourites,” a spokesperson for the fast food giant said in a statement.
