Deliveroo is launching a sustainability and social impact arm to boost their programs and partnerships in the segment next year.
The new team consists of eight people working together to actualise three United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals on hunger and homeslessness reduction, sustainability and promotion of physical and mental health.
“With a dedicated Sustainability & Social Impact Team in Australia, we’re looking to strengthen and expand on this in 2020. We will be investing in new partnerships and collaborating with organisations to bring about positive change to the local communities in which we serve,” Deliveroo Australia CEO Ed McManus said in a statement.
Deliveroo previously partnered with Returnr, BioPak, Polished Man, and Lighthouse Foundation in conducting their social impact and sustainability initiatives.
