The Coffee Club donates $20,000 to non-profit for children

The Coffee Club announced it has donated $20,000 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation in support of the Nine Telethon to help sick children.
“The cause is close to our hearts, and we have been so happy to be involved and make a difference again in 2022,” John Lazarou, co-founder of The Coffee Club, said in a media release.
Throughout the month of April, the coffee brand partnered with the Children’s Hospital Foundation and a “patient ambassador” to sell $2 tokens across stores and facilitate direct donations from customers to support the fundraising.
Lazarou then presented a cheque for $20,000 in a live-cross from the Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane on the night of the Nine Telethon last April 23.
“With the help of our fantastic Franchisees, Team Members and the generosity of our amazing customers, The Coffee Club is proud to present a cheque of $20,000 to the team at the Children’s Hospital Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of sick children across Queensland,” Lazarou said.
“With the help of Queenslanders and our incredible Coffee Club customers fundraising efforts, the Children's Hospital Foundation was able to raise an incredible $14,360,629 that will help make a difference in the lives of QLD's youngest patients and their families,” he added.
