Tasti D-Lite set to offer Tasteful Franchising Opportunities

Tasti D-Lite set to offer Tasteful Franchising Opportunities

Australia has a new franchise concept brought out from the US.  Tasti D-Lite, a frozen dessert business lays out their plan with a target of thirty establishments within five years, first of which will open on Chapel St, Melbourne at the end of August.

Tasty D-Lite has been brought to the local shores by the Crawford Family. According to Managing Director Tasti D-Lite Australia, John Crawford, for 25 years now, Tasti D-Lite has proven itself to have committed excellent service, product innovation and customer engagement in one of the world’s toughest markets in New York. The idea behind Tasti D-Lite was born in the kitchen of a woman who was looking for a way to enjoy treats but still watch her weights, most 120ml servings, average just 70 calories, only 1.5 grams of fat and 13 grams of carbohydrates.

“Australians are the world’s third largest consumers, per capita, of ice cream and that, combined with a growing market in this country of health and fitness, made us confident that the time was right for Tasti D-Lite” said John. “In 2010 we commenced negotiations with Tasti D-Lite in the US to acquire the Master Franchise rights for Australia. At this time I was delighted when my son, Jeremy decided to join the venture. So it’s a family affair – Georgina [their daughter] takes responsibility as Director of Marketing and Operations and Jeremy as Director of Business Development.”

Tasti D-Lite offers a new franchising experience in Australia for businessmen giving them an opportunity in one of the most demanding markets in the world. Franchise package will include single-unit franchises, multiple-unit franchises, and area developer programs.

In the next five years, the Crawford Family are heavily investing in their brand’s image and making it known across Australia in order to achieve their goal to becoming a key player in the frozen dessert industry.
