Pizza Hut teams up with Visa Checkout
The pizza chain became the first QSR company in the country to offer the new electronic method of payment for online orders.
“Just as we love to offer a great choice of toppings, we want to offer our customers more choice in the way they pay and Visa Checkout is an easy and convenient option,” Pizza Hut Australia Head of Marketing and Innovation, Fatima Syed said.
“We have invested heavily to better our digital presence, this month launching significant upgrades to our online and mobile sites and new iPhone and Android mobile apps, making the ordering process that much easier and faster.”
Customers can create a Visa Checkout account using one or more credit cards. Once signed up, their details would be saved for a faster, more convenient process the next time they order.
“We anticipate the number of online sales transactions to significantly increase before the end of 2015 as more customers defer to online, and the Visa Checkout partnership is another step forward in offering a greater digital experience to consolidate this growth."
“Pizza Hut is the first and only quick service restaurant to offer Visa Checkout, offering convenient online payment solutions to our customers,” Syed said.
To celebrate the new partnership, Pizza Hut and Visa Checkout are offering $10 off the first 30,000 online delivery orders that are paid using Visa Checkout between May 5 and 25.
