Deliveroo unveils 2nd ‘super kitchen' site in Melbourne

The new outlet is said to be five times bigger than the first one in Windsor.

Deliveroo has announced that they opened their new delivery-only ‘super kitchen’ outlet in Collingwood.

Up to 25 restaurant brands will be able to use nine kitchens that will be powered by solar energy.. This expands the food aggregator’s reach in Melbourne to 280,000 customers.

They will also launch their Food Market service where customers will be able to order multiple items from various restaurant brands at once.

“Deliveroo is passionate about food. With Collingwood Editions we are redefining the food landscape yet again, with a larger site to accommodate more restaurants and offering more customers an even greater range of cuisines to choose from,” Deliveroo Australia country manager Levi Aron said.

“Deliveroo’s super kitchens are leading the way on the future of food delivery by allowing restaurants to expand into new areas. We also give restaurants access to unique insights on customer trends and gaps in the market, allowing them to experiment and create new and exciting foods to match demand,” he added.
