Deliveroo expands delivery services with 16 new delivery zones
The food aggregator aims to to have 1,200 restaurant partners in the new areas.
Deliveroo has announced that they will be launching 16 new delivery zones to Hobart, Newcastle and Cairns and expand their reach across major cities.
Customers can now access the platform in the surrounding areas of Melbourne such as Box Hill, Doncaster, Ferntree Gully and Heidelberg. They also expanded their reach in Sydney to Bankstown, Five Dock, Campsie, Hornsby and Narrabeen and other areas.
In Perth, it is also available in Morley, Joondalup and Scarborough and other nearby suburbs.
“Deliveroo is excited to continue our expansion across Australia where we are creating flexible working options for thousands of riders, generating more opportunities for restaurants to access new customers and grow their revenues, and allowing customers to order from an even greater selection of amazing foods,” Deliveroo Australia country manager Levi Aron said.
The food aggregator added that an additional 1.5 million people can now access their platform and also plans to grow the number of restaurant partners to 1,200 in the new zones over the coming months.
“This expansion is an important milestone for Deliveroo in what has been a year of strong growth in the Australian market,” he added.
