CSIRO Agriculture and Food to discuss alternative proteins at QSR Media Op Central Conference & Awards

Speakers and panellists from QSR brands will tackle issues in the food industry.

CSIRO Agriculture and Food Future Protein Lead Michelle Colgrave will be one of the speakers in the QSR Media OP Central Conference & Awards on 11 October 2022, where she will tackle The Future of Food Presentation on Alternative Proteins.

According to the CSIRO Agriculture and Food website, Colgrave identifies key proteins that will help improve human health through proteomics. Proteomics is a study of proteins via mass spectrometry.

Aside from her post in CSIRO Agriculture and Food, she is also chief investigator on the ARC Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science.

Meanwhile, joining the founders and young entrepreneurs panel are Nicolas Pestalozzi, the marketing director of Fishbowl, Soul Burger CEO Amit Tewari, Pretzel Australia Owner Britanny Garbutt, and Milky Lane Managing Director Shane Fitzgerald.
