Burger Love launches competitive eating contest

The chain is offering AU$100 for customers who can finish their “Tower Of Power” in less than five minutes.

Melbourne burger chain Burger Love announced its latest competitive eating contest, offering cash to whoever can finish its Tower Of Power offering in less than 5 minutes

The Tower of Power consists of stacks of cheese and beef burger patties sandwiched by two buns and weighs 3.5 kg.

Burger Love said the offering has only been finished four times in over eight years with hundreds of attempts from customers.

“#burgerlove’s business model is built around customer experience, engagement, social media and staying current. This part of the business, allows us to connect with our customers in a deeper and more personal way,” founder Steve Agi said.

The #ChallengeChewsday event happens every Tuesday night from 6pm at their flagship South Melbourne store.

Burger Love currently has seven locations across Melbourne.
