Subway unveils its salted caramel-flavoured cookie
The chain says Aussies consume more than 55 million of their cookies annually.
For the first time in nearly a decade, Subway Australia has added a new variety to its cookie range, launching the Salted Caramel Flavoured Cookie.
The sandwich chain says Australians and New Zealanders are the first in the world to try the limited-edition item.
“Salted Caramel is one of the biggest trends in dessert flavours and our Salted Caramel Flavoured Cookie was created for our sweet palate,” Subway regional public relations manager Amanda Templeton said in an announcement.
Prior to the Salted Caramel Flavoured Cookie, the Raspberry Cheesecake was their most recent cookie, added in 2010. According to Subway, Aussies consume more than 55 million its of cookies every year.
The Salted Caramel Flavoured Cookie is available in Australian restaurants whilst stocks last.
