Michel’s Patisserie unveils new Drip Cakes

The brand introduced its new Drip Cakes, having been conceptualised from dessert trends across the globe, and drizzled with flavoured ganache and hand decorated with a selection of sweets.

Managing Director Alicia Atkinson said the brand has seen the Drip Cake popularity soar, appearing at many special occasions from birthdays to weddings, crafted by a range of celebrity and boutique bakers.

“Michel’s Patisserie is always looking at ways to create innovative new products, and with the increasing popularity of decadent drip cakes the brand has launched our own unique version,” she said.

“The new Drip Cake range is hand decorated instore by our local franchisees, adding a personal touch to every design. Each cake is layered with moreish butter cake, smooth caramel, chocolat or strawberry mousse and then drizzled in rich ganache. The franchisee then finishes the cake with a fun selection of sweets, from caramel popcorn and lollipops to Belgian chocolat.”

Atkinson said the brand stands for celebrations and special moments and is looking forward to providing customers with new cakes unlike anything else on their current menu.

“Our new Drip Cakes make a statement and are very different to anything we have previously offered to
customers,” she said.

Michel’s Patisserie’s new Drip Cakes are available now and come in four flavours: Caramel Chocolat, Caramel Popcorn, Chocolat and Strawberry.
