McDonald's veggie burger now a permanent menu addition
Whilst having no meat ingredients included, the new item, however, is not strictly a vegetarian burger due to its cooking procedure.
McDonald’s announced the nationwide launch of its vegetable-based burger, making it a permanent addition to its menu.
The McVeggie Burger features a crunchy patty made with potatoes, peas, corn, carrot and onion, along with cheese, lettuce, herbs and spices, mayonnaise, pickles, all on a sesame seed bun.
Whilst having no meat ingredients included, the new item, however, is not strictly a vegetarian burger due to its cooking procedure.
McDonald’s first introduced the veggie burger in May 2019 on a trial basis in the chain’s South Australia stores.
