Domino's unveils new Vegan Summer BBQ Pizza

The pizza chain says the interest in adopting a vegan diet is growing.

Domino’s continues their Official Pizza of Summer campaign with the roll out of their new Vegan Summer BBQ Pizza.

The new offering features vegan mozzarella, spinach, red onion, mushroom, pineapple, roasted peppers and cherry tomatoes on a BBQ sauce base, topped with tomato capsicum sauce.

“We’ve had great support and engagement from the vegan community on our Vegan Cheese Enthusiasts Facebook group and we’ve received lots of requests for new vegan options,” Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said.

Domino’s also mentioned that Australians’ interest in adopting a vegan diet is growing rapidly and the 2018 online search interest in vegan information was at an all-time high.

Last year, the pizza chain made vegan cheese topping as a permanent menu item and also launched their Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread.
