Baskin-Robbins launches The Big Scoop
Offering a larger scoop of ice cream, available in stores now.
“Australia is famous for our ‘Big Icons’, like the Big Banana, The Big Pineapple, The Big Mango, so what better way to celebrate Summer than to introduce our very own Baskin-Robbins’ Big Scoop”, Baskin-Robbins General Manager Ben Flintoff said.
The Big Scoop will offer customers looking for bigger servings of ice cream a better value option, as it features 170 grams of ice cream. The new scoop offers 50 percent more ice cream than the current Baskin-Robbins regular scoop.
As part of the launch offer and for a limited time only, all guests who purchase a Big Scoop of their favourite ice cream may top if off with a garnish consisting of fresh cream, chopped almonds and a cherry all for free.
“The Big Scoop provides additional added-value for our guests, feedback from guests and stores is that our guests are wanting more of their favourite flavour in a bigger scoop offering. The new Big Scoop allows these loyal guests to upgrade from the regular size scoop to the new Big Scoop, and what better time of the year than Summer - our peak trading period - to launch this new offering.” Flintoff said.
The Big Scoop extends on Baskin-Robbins’ existing scoop size range including the 70 gram Small Scoop and 114 gram Regular Scoop. All three size ice cream scoops are available in a cup or a freshly baked waffle cone, or desserts.
Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty stores, with 86 stores across Australia.
