Survey says pizza is the most frequently ordered takeaway

34% of the respondents said they would rather have pizza more than any other offering.

According to a Canstar Blue Survey, Pizza beats out American (Burgers, etc.), Chinese and Mexican, among others, as the most frequently ordered takeaway.

The survey also noted that 36% of Australian said that they would rather order a pizza than go out for dinner and 40% said they order takeaway once a week.

Interestingly, the result of the poll also showed that 52% of the customers prefer to buy from the gourmet range of pizza offerings rather than going for the cheapest offering.
