McDonald's Australia first to offer tubs of Bic Mac sauce

One Big Mac Sauce bottle of only 200 bottles produced globally, now being auctioned off in Oz.

The first 500ml bottle of the Big Mac sauce is being auctioned off on eBay until 11th February, with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

For the meantime, for the whole month of February, McDonald’s customers will also be able to purchase 25ml tubs of Special Sauce at restaurants around the country. The chain will also simultaneously have a Big Mac Special Sauce vending machine country tour this month.

Mark Lollback, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Australia, said “Big Mac sauce is one of the most iconic McDonald’s ingredients and people often ask us where they can buy it; so we’re excited to be the first country in the world to offer tubs of Big Mac sauce to our customers.

“I know of people who love adding our Special Sauce to all types of food – from French Fries to McNuggets – so it’s going to be interesting to see what Aussies choose to add a spot of Big Mac sauce to over the next month,” added Lollback.
