Guzman y Gomez holds Day of the Deadly Sauces challenge

The Mexican food chain is inviting its customers to try out this year's new range of hot sauces on Friday October 30.

GYG is also allowing customers to try out two new sauces not currently available in Australia for free.

"This year we have GYG’s own Ghost Chile and extract hot sauce rated 1,000,0000 on the Scovile Heat Rating, and Dave’s Gourmet Private Reserve 2014 (Limited edition) rated 500,000 on the same scale," the brand said.

The first 50 customers who upload photos of their reaction to the challenge with the hashtag #GOMEX will have a chance to win a free burrito.
