The Coffee Club names Justine Schofield as new Food Ambassador
Australian media food personality, Justine Schofield, was announced as The Coffee Club’s new Food Ambassador.
The Coffee Club General Manager of Marketing, Greg Bowell, said that Justine was the natural choice, not only because she is well respected by her peers, but also because the ‘everyday gourmet’ embodies all that The Coffee Club stands for.
“Her commitment and passion for serving wholesome, flavoursome and nutritional food with a twist really fits well with our brand values. The fact that she is a lover of all things coffee is really an added bonus,” he said.
Schofield said that she was relishing her new role, and had been busy behind the scenes collaborating with The Coffee Club’s passionate food team.
“I can’t reveal exactly what we’ve been working on just yet, but needless to say I’m excited to be back in the kitchen and sharing my love of food with even more Australians.”
As one of the most popular contestants to come out of Series one ‘MasterChef’ in 2009, Schofield has become an established face of the Australian food and media industry. She hosts her show Everyday Gourmet on Network Ten’s and is now in its sixth season, has just released her first cookbook, runs a small boutique catering company and is a regular columnist in national magazines as well as appearing around the country for food festivals.
“My food philosophy is centred around great ingredients, a healthy dose of adventure, an appetite to learn and perhaps most importantly, being surrounded by friends and family to share the spoils,” Schofield said.
“Food brings people together – and for me, The Coffee Club is synonymous with catching up with loved ones whether it’s for a quick cup of coffee or settling in for a relaxing and enjoyable bite to eat.”
Bowell said that the team were thrilled to have Justine on-board.
“Justine embodies The Coffee Club’s mantra for good food and great coffee. As our first official Food Ambassador, we’re confident our customers will be equally impressed by what she brings to the table,” Bowell said.
“Simply put, Justine’s involvement will add another layer of culinary flare to The Coffee Club’s offering – and coupled with our team of passionate chefs – it’s a winning recipe,” he said.
