Brumby’s starts hunt for Australia’s Best Baker
The competition is being run across all Brumby’s stores around the country, to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary.
Customers can enter the competition by nominating or voting for their local baker online via the brands website and Facebook page.
Brumby’s Bakery Managing Director Matthew Marshall said the competition is about highlighting their talented bakers and giving them the opportunity to be recognised for their exemplary work.
“We have so many amazing bakers it will be hard to determine a winner, we can only hope all of them are nominated and have the chance to be recognised in their local community,” he said.
Marshall said manufactured bakery products don’t have the same quality and freshness compared to a loaf hand crafted by a real baker.
“While our customers are sleeping, our Aussie bakers are in store preparing and producing the freshest high quality bakery products,” he said.
“All of our bread contains 100% locally sourced Aussie wheat to ensure we are using only the best ingredients.”
Brumby’s Best Baker competition closes on November 1; the best baker will be announced via Facebook on November 2 and will be awarded a $2,000 Visa gift card. Customers wanting to nominate their local baker can cast their vote via the Brumby’s website www.brumbys.com.au.
