Sale of Max Brenner Australia falls through
The chocolate cafe chain's liquidators say they did not enter the publicised transaction with investment firm Tozer & Co.
BDO Australia has issued its latest statement on the trading of Max Brenner's Australia business.
On Thursday, BDO was appointed the Liquidators for Max Brenner in Australia.
The liquidators of Max Brenner Australia explored a transaction with Tozer & Co relating to the trading of the business and the acquisition of Max Brenner in Australia.
That transaction has not been entered into by the Liquidators at this time, however BDO’s Andrew Sallway said “We will continue to trade the Company whilst we explore options with the licensor, Max Brenner Industries Ltd, regarding the Max Brenner brand in Australia. Today it is business as usual.”
