Restaurant Brands posts 5.8% sales increase in Q3

The company recently opened its latest KFC store in Rundle Mall in Adelaide.

Restaurant Brands recorded a 5.8% year-on-year sales increase in Q3 as its three operating divisions in three markets maintained “strong” same-store sales in the same period.

The company’s New Zealand division, which operates Taco Bell, KFC, Carl’s Jr. and Pizza Hut, contributed a total of $99.6m (NZ$103.9m) or an increase by 5.2% whilst same-store sales grew by 5.6%.

Meanwhile, their Hawaiian operations sales rose by 8.8% to $ 43.9m in total, and an 8.8% increase in same-store basis.

KFC Australia operations brought a total of $43.7m (NZ$ ) sales or an increase by 6.7% and a same-store 5.6% sales increase. It added one store for the quarter with the launch of its Darlinghurst store.

Restaurant Brand recently opened its latest KFC store in Rundle Mall in Adelaide. It also launched a Taco Bell outlet in Newcastle in the quarter.
