Din Tai Fung's Westfield Sydney store reopens after passing health inspection

The outlet has been declared “clean and free of rodents”.

Din Tai Fung has announced that they have now reopened their Westfield Sydney store, which closed last week after a video of a rat in their kitchen surfaced in social media.

City of Sydney's health inspectors gave the outlet a clean bill of health, confirming that it is now clean and free of rodents.

“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience that the incident last week caused. Din Tai Fung is proud of our track record for compliance in regular food safety inspections over many years. This was an isolated incident,” Vera Handoko, general manager of Din Tai Fung Australia, said.
