Burger Urge removes ‘Sizzler'-related social media posts after federal court filing

Collins Foods issued a cease-and-desist notice earlier this month.

Burger Urge has removed references to its new product “The Sizzle” from its social media platforms after Sizzler operator Collins Foods filed federal court proceedings against the company, SmartCompany first reported.

The new burger, originally dubbed as “The Sizzler”, drew the ire of ASX-listed Collins Foods, which initially issued a cease-and-desist notice earlier this month, citing product infringement.
