Gloria Jean’s Coffees supports national anti-suicide campaign
All Gloria Jean’s coffee houses across Australia will host a month-long series of promotions and events starting September 15.
Gloria Jean’s Coffees are sponsors of R U OK?Day - a national day of action that aims to prevent suicide by encouraging Australians to connect with family, friends and colleagues.
All Gloria Jean’s coffee houses across Australia will host a month-long series of in-store promotions and coffee house events, providing support information to help those at risk and raise awareness of the national campaign.
Gloria Jean’s coffee houses marked the official R U OK?Day last September 15th 2011 by distributing R U OK? cards with help-seeking information to guests to prevent little problems turning into big ones.
Nabi Saleh, Executive Chairman of Gloria Jean’s Coffees International, said he is proud to be supporting a worthy cause that shares Gloria Jean’s Coffees’ commitment to building and changing lives.
“Gloria Jeanfs Coffees is proud to be a major sponsor of R U OK?Day. By connecting and engaging with others, we can have a positive impact on each othersf lives,” Mr Saleh said. “Meaningful conversations can protect those we know and love.”
“We urge all Australians to start a conversation and connect with their family, friends, colleagues and loved ones,” he said.
“A simple conversation over a coffee, can in fact help to change a life.”
