Eagle Boys helped raise funds for world record attempt for charity

Proceeds went to Huntingtons Queensland.

Eagle Boys Pizza reported that the brand lent a helping hand in raising funds for Go Karting Brisbane’s event, where owner Cam Wilson attempted to set a new Guiness World Record for ‘Karting—greatest distance travelled in 24 hours indoors (individual).’

Through Eagle Boys’ Happiness Fund, launched November 2013, the Eagle Boys Tingalpa store was able to deliver pizzas beginning 11:30am and 1:00pm on the day of the record was set to be completed.

Proceeds from this event went to Huntingtons Queensland, an association that supports individuals suffering from the disease, and even their families.

Wilson’s father, Murray, who is currently suffering from the genetic disease, particularly inspired this cause.

“We’ve all been touched by Cam Wilson’s story and it’s this kind of worthy cause that the Eagle Boys Happiness Fund was designed for – helping local people in our Eagle Boys communities across Australia,” said Kate Pettiford, Eagle Boys Head of Marketing.
