Domino’s bent on strengthening presence in South Australia
Adelaide and regional areas in South Australia have been earmarked as key growth areas by the pizza chain as it ramps us plans to open new branches at Muno Para and Mawson Lakes soon.
Chief Development and Franchising Officer Pat McMichael said Domino’s had undertaken a national investigation to determine where the best opportunities exist for new stores and the one which stood out was Adelaide, followed by the growing towns of Gawler, Whyalla and Victor Harbour.
“We have a new store growth strategy for Australia and the first step in this process was to thoroughly investigate all potential locations and determine if they presented the right fit for a Domino’s store,” McMichael said.
“South Australia stood out as a key area where we have a fantastic opportunity to grow our presence even more than what it is now. We currently have 27 stores across the state and have two new openings planned at Muno Para and Mawson Lakes in the coming weeks.
“We are also currently working on new sites in Gawler, Whyalla and Victor Harbour and are looking for new franchisees to fill these locations," McMichael added.
While Domino’s is searching for franchisees to fill new store locations across South Australia it also has existing stores available across Australia for people who want to purchased an established business.
“We are focused on our organic growth strategy in Australia but at the same time we have existing stores available for purchase which present new owners with an exciting opportunity within an established location,” McMichael said.
