Zarraffa’s Maroochydore bags top franchisee company award for 2013
They also won the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award last year.
Last 3rd September, Zarraffa’s Coffee held a gala dinner at Jupiter’s Hotel and Casino on the Gold Coast to conclude the company’s two-day annual conference.
As part of the celebration, the brand also recognised the top franchisees of the year by giving out several awards, including two new Growth awards for stores open up to two years and for stores open over two years.
“These awards recognise the stores that have achieved the highest percentage increase in sales growth in the past financial year, while our other major awards consider other factors.
“We felt the company was of a size now where it was important to acknowledge both the consistency of product and service on the one hand as well as the financial growth,” said Kenton Campbell, CEO of Zarraffa’s Coffee.
The brand’s Maroochydore store, led by Terry and Jeanette Bambury, won the Franchisee of the Year award. The Bambury’s already has a total of four stores, which includes their recently opened drive thru store in Caloundra.
“We believe the secret is to always enjoy what you do, employ the right staff and work together to empower the business,” shared Jeanette Bambury.
Zarraffa’s also revealed that the brand will be focusing on developing their drive thru models to further their expansion, as it provides multiple revenue streams for their franchisees.
“We are proud of our consistency, our measured growth and the success of our stores. We are not interested in expansion for expansion’s sake; it’s just not what this company is about,” added Campbell.
