RFG crowns 2013 Espresso Perfecto Champion
Adam Armstrong bagged the top award again.
Retail Food Group’s Espresso Perfecto Barista Championships came to close last week, proclaiming Adam Armstrong as this year’s champion.
The national Final of the championships was held on the Gold Coast, QLD.
Armstrong bested 210 competitors from RFG’s various coffee brand systems, such as Donut King, Michel’s Patisserie, bb’s Café, and Esquires Coffee, across all outlets in the country.
According to the brand, the judges were impressed with Armstrong’s creative signature drink.
Armstrong is a Michel’s Patisserie Specialist Barista at the St Agnes store on the North East Road. In 2009, Armstrong also won first place in RFG’s National Barista Championship, and even bagged second place back in 2011.
“I am really passionate about making coffee and am so excited to have won this prestigious title.
“Winning this year’s national championships is definitely the highlight of my eight years at Michel’s Patisserie.
