Stephen Copulos resigns from Collins Foods

Keen interest surround his next steps.

According to a report by James Ferrier for WIlson HTM, Stephen Copulos has resigned as a director after having recently voted against the the re-election of Collins Foods chairman Russell Tate, and declared various concerns with the performance of the company.

He noted that "given Stephen’s divergent views relative to the remainder of the Board, investors will now take a keen interest in his potential next steps, which include: (a) selling out, (b) maintaining the existing holding, (c) buying more shares, and/or (d) initiating corporate action."

Adding, "with the KFC business performing reasonably well and uncertainty surrounding the future of Sizzler, we assess head office costs as the primary source of potential value upside under a scenario of corporate action."
