Former Pizza Hut CEO takes senior position at Domino’s in Europe
This comes as Domino’s group CEO and MD announced his resignation.
Former Pizza Hut Australia CEO Phil Reed has been appointed to a senior management role for Domino’s in Europe.
Reed led the brand’s turnaround in Australia as well as its acquisition by global restaurant operator Flynn.
The news comes following Reed’s resignation as president of Flynn ANZ in February, before officially leaving the company in April this year.
Reed first started his career in the quick-service restaurant industry at McDonald’s Europe. He then moved on to become the CEO of Burger King in Indonesia before becoming the CEO of Pizza Hut in the Philippines. After that, he spent more than eight years as the CEO of Pizza Hut Australia, leading the brand to several years of same-store sales growth.
The news comes after Domino’s Pizza Enterprise Limited announced that Mark van Dyck, Group CEO and Managing Director, has advised the Board of his intention to step down, with his departure to take effect on 23 December 2025.
