Yum! Brands completes franchise negotiations with Allegro

Pizza Hut Australia, owned by Yum! Brands, announced the completion of its negotiations with independently owned Australian fund manager Allegro regarding a master franchising arrangement, effective September 6.

“This is an exciting step change in how Pizza Hut operates in this market which will accelerate growth and deliver Pizza Hut to more consumers across Australia,” said outgoing Pizza Hut Australia General Manager Graeme Houston.

According to Yum, the master franchisee business will be led by a highly experienced and hands-on new management buy-in team of three Australian quick service restaurant (QSR) specialists who each have extensive track records in a range of national and international roles. The new master franchise management team will immediately focus on building a strong customer-centric leadership position, further embracing digital innovations and trends, growing new stores, and building economies of scale to boost market share and profit in a highly competitive market.
