Oporto opens in Perth

Up to 10 stores are set to open in the first year.

The QSRH Group said Oporto’s entry into the ‘dynamic’ west coast quick service restaurant retail sector will provide business owners new franchise opportunities. The first store opened last December 29 in South Perth.

“The move to WA is indicative of the brands’ continuing growth and popularity and Oporto believes it is well placed to meet the demands of its younger demographic who crave a more adventurous flavour experience,” said the QSRH Group in an announcement.

Meanwhile Oporto’s Franchisee Support Office supports over 140 stores across Australia and New Zealand providing focused business support, training, marketing, operations, and business development advice.

Group CEO Mark Bayliss said, “We have long wanted to bring Oporto to the west and we are now in a position to do so. We are looking for highly motivated business partners who will work in their business and on the development of the brand in this new and untapped market.”
