Nahji Chu and partners buy back MissChu

Sale confirmed and settlement is due to take place in about 15 business days.

According to KordaMentha, MissChu has been sold to MissChu Holdings Pty Ltd, a company controlled by the Mawson Group and Nahji Chu. The price was not disclosed.

Appointed Administrator of MissChu Rahul Goyal commented, "KordaMentha conducted a broad sale process, and we are pleased that the business can continue as a going concern and that jobs could be preserved."

Miss Chu operated six retail tuckshops and a catering business in New South Wales. The stores are located in Bondi, Manly, Darlinghurst, Sydney CBD, David Jones food court Sydney and Elizabeth Bay (now closed). The Melbourne MissChu businesses are not affected by the Voluntary Administration and the London store has recently been closed.
