Guzman y Gomez opens 10th Western Australia restaurant

The new restaurant will have at least 60 crew members.

Mexican restaurant brand Guzman y Gomez is opening its 10th Western Australian restaurant in Ascot.

The restaurant will also open a drive-thru on 8 December. To celebrate the new opening, GYG Ascot will be serving up $5 burritos and bowls and free coffee all day. A live Mariachi band will also perform during the restaurant’s first day.

Perth local Bala Venkatesan will be heading up the new location as Restaurant Manager, after joining GYG as a cook just two years ago. Bala is on a mission to find 30 more locals to join her growing team. Currently, Bala has hired close to 60 crew members and is still actively recruiting.

The new restaurant is located at Great Eastern Hwy & Daly St, Ascot WA 6104.
