Domino’s eyes opening 40 stores by end 2023

The pizza giant is planning to open 10 more before the end of the calendar year.

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Limited (Domino’s) will open another 10 stores across Australia and New Zealand this calendar year, with sights set on a total of 40 new stores before the end of the 2023 Financial Year.

The company recently surpassed 900 stores in the ANZ region, and 750 stores in Australia, and will celebrate the opening of its 150th store in New Zealand this December.

This acceleration of growth has seen Domino’s set a goal to expand its store network to 1000 stores across Australia and New Zealand in 2024.

In the 2022 Financial Year, the Company opened 22 new stores across Australia and New Zealand; the growth rate this year has more than doubled.

Domino’s ANZ Chief Development Officer Cameron Toomey said when considering Domino’s markets across the globe, Australia is one of the more mature locations.

“With almost 40 years of experience operating in the Australian market, and 20 in New Zealand, it’s this knowledge that gives us such confidence to bring more Domino’s kitchens closer to more customers across these established regions,” said Toomey.
